Trips & Hotel Bookings

TOURIST PROGRAMS

The SDPO team is happy to announce new prices for your journey in Asia. We would like to thank our partner PHOENIX Voyage for this constructive step, bringing us closer to an outstanding event. A “small price” hotel and tourist trip will make it’s appearance.

This is a very touristic period for Cambodia and we urge you to book your stay in advance and perhaps extend your trip to Vietnam via Hanoï and the Halong Bay or Saigon and a cruise on the Mekong river. You can also decide to visit Phnom Penh, South Asia’s pearl.

For those of you who don’t want a touristic trip, you will have to add 2 hotel nights to your program.

Indeed, you need to know that the race is taking place on a UNESCO world heritage site, witch means that there is an entrance fee. It is not easy for lonely runners with no Cambodian companion to get to the starting lines. With the overnight stays in the hotels offered by us, it is easier for us to arrange transport by bus from the hotels to the different starting lines and thus meet your expectations.

But you are the sole decision maker, this is only a tip!

The Golden silk or revival of a forgotten craft

From the Tonle Lake, silkworms naturally produce a yellow-gold color used since the thirteenth century in the Khmer traditional crafts. For several centuries, this unique silk was forgotten in favor of the less expensive materials.  Today, a workshop is dedicated to the restoration of this ancient art.
