Angkor Elephant Trail – 10 km

NEW DISTANCE –  Angkor Elephant Trail – 10 km

A major new feature for this 10th edition of the Ultra-Trail d’Angkor: the Elephant Trail Angkor is evolving and moving from 8 km to 10 km. This latest event by SDPO has been designed to allow the greatest number of participants to take part in the adventure, whatever their level.

While a half marathon already requires sustained endurance and a marathon remains a demanding challenge that calls for rigor and consistency, the 10 km distance stands out as the ideal format for everyone. Neither too short to frustrate endurance runners, nor too long to discourage occasional athletes, it strikes the perfect balance between effort, enjoyment, and accessibility.

It is a distance many runners are familiar with from training, often completed in around one hour, making it both reassuring and motivating.

The course will start from the Terrace of the Elephants, before gradually plunging into the jungle, weaving through winding single tracks in the heart of lush, tropical nature. A playful and immersive route designed to deliver both sensations and escape.

There is no doubt that this new version of the Elephant Trail will meet the same success as the other races on the program. Pure enjoyment, sharing, and emotion — this is the spirit of SDPO, offering events where everyone can find their own challenge and pleasure.
