Day- 1 : SATURDAY, 11/01/20 – HO CHI MINH CITY (Arrival) (D)


On arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, pick-up by your local tour guide, then transfer to your selected hotel.

Note: Rooms are available from 2pm

Explore Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), visit the old colonial residential quarter, including the City Hall, built from 1902-1908 in a French colonial style, Opera House, built in 1897 by French Architect Eugene Ferret, the contemporary Independance Palace (outside) and the elegant 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Then, stroll around the Central Post Office built, neoclassical architectural style, built in the early 20th century by Eiffel.

Depart to Tay Ninh, the Holy See of Caodaism, about a hundred kilometres away from Ho Chi Minh City.

The outstanding and colorful building integrates elements from all the religions it represents, turning out into a surprising and colorful mix, with a dominance of blue, red and yellow, which is the respective colors of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism. Attending to one of the 4 daily masses is an interesting thing to do by the travelers.

In the afternoon, drive to one of the most dramatic site in the history of the Vietnam War: Cu Chi Tunnels.
Visit the underground city, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels, and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped to counter the growing American military effort.

Return back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

Day – 3 : MONDAY, 13/01/20 – HO CHI MINH CITY – CAI BE – TRA ON (B / L / D)

Depart from the hotel and drive to Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, visit a Cao Dai Temple before boarding on the Bassac (at around noon), a converted and fully equipped traditional rice barge designed for great comfort. After getting acquainted with the crew, sail through the Tien Giang River.

In the middle of the afternoon, the barge will anchor to visit a village on the banks of either the Co Chien or Mang Thit River for some tropical fruits tasting before returning aboard the Bassac to enjoy the sunset.

  • Local dinner in board as the BAssac reaches its destination near Phuoc Hau Pagoda in Tra On
  • Overnight on board


In the early morning, breakfast will be served while sailing through Tra On floating market toward Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta.
The cruise ends at Cai Rang. Embark on a small local boat to visit the floating market and the nearby streams and gardens. Disembark at Ninh Kieu’s pier and stroll through Can Tho market.
In the afternoon drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City airport for the flight to Siem Reap (VN815//SGN-REP//19H05-20H10) *

Day – 4 : TUESDAY, 14/01/20 – SIEM REAP (Arrival)

Upon arrival, welcome at Siem Reap airport by your driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) and check-in at the hotel.

Note: Rooms are available from 2pm.

Day – 5 : WEDNESDAY, 15/01/20 – SIEM REAP (B / L)

After breakfast, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, a huge architectural complex with the famous Bayon Temple at its center. This mountain-temple was once surrounded by 54 towers. On each of the 37 remaining, 4 enigmatic faces can still be recognized. Then, explore Baphuon, which was fully restored by a team of French archaeologists after 16 years of work.

  • Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat (early-mid 12th century) dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. This magnificent temple-mountain, built by King Suryavarman II is considered as the masterpiece of the Khmer architecture and art. Late in the afternoon, visit a local artist’s studio.

The day ends with a surprising circus show combining creativity, energy and originality, all acquired from the Khmer culture.

Angkor, ancient capital of the Khmer Empire
Its mystery lies in these ancient ruins now classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Originally Hindu, the various ruins became gradually Buddhists and were long lost in the tropical jungle. Today, the site impresses majesty and grace on its buildings, and a walk through Angkor is a unique opportunity to go back in time.

Day – 6 : THURSDAY, 16/01/20 SIEM REAP (B /L)

After breakfast, drive to Kbal Spean, the “River of a Thousand Lingas”, located about 50 km north of Siem Reap.

Upon arrival, walk through the forest (45 minutes) and explore the river where the bedrocks are engraved with Apsaras and countless symbols of the god Shiva.  It was believed that the linga fertilized the water that irrigated the rice fields underneath.

  • Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive through the Bantey Srey Temple, the Citadel of Women. This small pink sandstone temple is considered to be a jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art because of its delicate carvings.

Then, return back to Siem Reap through the Cambodian countryside, followed by the visit of the marvelously restored Bantey Samre Temple.

Day – 7 : FRIDAY, 17/01/20 – SIEM REAP ( B / L)

After breakfast, visit the twin temples of Chau Say Thommanon and Tevoda, the unfinished temple-mountain of Ta Keo, the holy water basin of Srah Srang, and the Banteay Kdei monastery.

Finally, discover the Ta Phrom Temple, which has been left in much the same condition as it was found – the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle have made it one of the most famous monuments with Angkor Wat.

  • Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, pick-up the official T-shirt with number. The rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport by your driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) for the departure flight.
